ONLINE PRE-ADJUDICATION

“At age 8, my daughter was cast in her first professional musical theatre production at Stratford Festival. We were told that we should get dance lessons before rehearsals started since the production had complicated choreography. Many of her cast mates had been dancing since they were toddlers.

We first encountered Rhonda when she adjudicated a competition my daughter participated in. Her written feedback was thoughtful and encouraging and deeply motivated my daughter. Remembering that Rhonda was a respected dancer and instructor, we looked online and found her.

Rhonda had just four months to prepare my daughter to rehearse alongside seasoned dancers—with no insight into the choreography she’d eventually need to learn.

From day one, Rhonda was dedicated—teacher, motivator, gentle drill sergeant, and friend. She tackled a daunting task with patience and positivity, telegraphing to my daughter the belief that success was possible. Thanks to Rhonda’s magic, I sat in the audience on opening night and watched my daughter dance as if she’d been training since she was a toddler!”

We feel fortunately to have Rhonda in our lives!”
